Brian Quast joined BMO Capital Markets Equity Research as a precious metals analyst in 2012. Brian has nearly two decades of experience in metallurgical engineering. Prior to joining BMO, he was an equity analyst with another Canadian bank-owned dealer. In 2011 and 2016, Quast was ranked a top gun analyst for precious metals & diamonds - small/mid cap in the Brendan Wood International Survey. Quast is a licensed professional engineer (Ontario) and holds a JD/MBA from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business at York University, as well as an undergraduate degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of South Australia.
